1949
St. Regis River debuts as part of Pullman’s River series. The sleeper car consists of 10 roomettes and six double rooms. The exterior was painted dark grey, the stripe was painted century light grey and the lettering was aluminum grey.

St. Regis River
The St. Regis River ran on the New York Central System. It made stops in New York City, Boston, Syracuse and Buffalo.

The St. Regis River is purchased by the Canadian National Railway and renamed the Riviere Rouge.

Chestnut Hill
The car is purchased and renamed the Chestnut Hill. It is reconfigured into a lounge car with six double rooms.

2006
The Chestnut Hill was part of the plans for a New York & Greenwood Lake railway that never came to be. It stopped running in 2006. It had two double bedrooms, a kitchenette, dining room and lounge.
